Bioscouring enzyme alkaline pectinase powder/liquid for textile to remove pectin
Product Description
Prepzyme 301 is a ready to use and non-GMO alkaline pectinase. Prepzyme 301 is used for bio-scouring natural cellulosic fibres such as cotton, linen and its blends with synthetic fiber. Prepzyme 301 removes pectin and other impurities from cotton fibres without any degradation of the cellulose, therefore no negative effect on the strength properties of the fiber. Prepzyme 301 can be applied in any type of equipment normally used for textile wet-processing.
It is recommended to use Prepzyme 301 together with wetting agent and/or scouring agent (emulsifier) to get a desired scouring performance, because the complete removal of oil on the fabric/fiber is essential to the success of bio-scouring. The selection of wetting agent and scouring agent is important. A good oil-removal agent Oilmove 260 was developed by KDN Biotech for this purpose.
